Rated 12-14-2023. Pours a hazy golden with a nice medium head that dissipates to a thin creamy ring around the glass with lacing. Aroma is tropical & citrus fruits with a solid malt body. The taste is fruity and sweet with a medium hoppiness with almost no bite. Easy drinking NEIPA and tasty. BOD 8-25-2023

12oz can from Homebrewstuff. Hazy orange golden pour, one finger fluffy white head. Light tropical aroma. Taste is fruity, melon, sweet, bordering on juicy.

Poured from 12oz can into a kitchen glass. Canned 6/26/24, reviewed 8/21/24.

Appearance: golden orange hue with plenty of haze and two fingers of frothy ivory foam atop. Nice!

Smell: sweetish malt aroma with kind of a sharp citrusy hop character that I don’t especially care for.

Taste: much like the aroma, there’s a moderate sweetness to the malt, and the hop character is really not my jam. I’ve noticed this in quite a few IPAs, and I don’t think it’s age. I think it’s just something about a certain hop variety/combination.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.

Overall: maybe this beer has its audience, but I am not it.

Look: Pours a murky orange with a huge, foamy head that quickly swells and slowly settles to a pillow, leaving awesome lacing behind

Aroma: Orange, blueberries, strawberries, light mango, raspberries, a little peach, and sweet bready malt

Taste: Orange, mango, and peach come together to get things going with each shining briefly on its own before blending with one another. The berry parade follows that with blue, rasp, goose, and strawberries all in play along with some fruity dank before closing with orange, peach, and a light bite

Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and over-so-slightly dry on the finish

Overall: This is a tasty one. This was part of a beer gift from my Dad (thanks!) and one I hadn’t seen before so was curious what it brought to the table. A nice, berry-heavy hop blend along with some of the usual suspects; orange, mango, & peach, and in a lighter ABV package plus, a hazy that doesn’t fully drink lie one, which I dug. A fan and delicious treat and one I would order or buy again

all pelican beer is good, its a fact, and this is solid too, a lighter (in abv) take on the style, but still hearty and starchy and full bodied as they go, so it really doesnt go down any easier than the bigger ones, it just lets me have a little more before i get weird. pale and cloudy but not dull looking or with any visible sediment or anything, just dense, short but lasting white head, orange tinted in the light. the nose of this is peach nectar, sweet orange, orange candy, pineapple, and juniper, highly aromatic and i end up smelling a lot more in the hops than i taste as this does pack a little greenness to it, but not totally oversaturated, just a little bite of vegetal character in the middle. the grain bring a lot of body but not a ton of flavor, and the ferment is inconsequential in the flavor to me, so really this is all about the hops, just a light biscuit sort of malt base keeping this balanced well enough. more peach and apricot preserves in the nose, zested orange, some weedy dankness too and this feels a little sticky, light white wine, apple juice, and pineapple too, all really fresh. it could be lighter to drink, the body is a lot and this moved a little slow for me even with the lower abv, not poorly refined, just kind of meaty overall, summery flavors but not a patio ripper in my book. nice hop profile though, distinct. quality hazy overall. pelican is on a roll!

Pours a cloudy pale orange with a finger of rocky head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Aroma of stone fruit and citrus. Taste follows nose.
