Brewed on the shoreline of the Pacific, Pelican West Coast IPA is as westward and as coastal as it gets! Taking the cool coastal water for inspiration, this beer is infused with cryogenic processed hops for a supreme balance of hop character and a super clean, crisp finish. Brimming with bright citrus hop aromas of tangerine, lime zest, and pink grapefruit, this West Coast IPA is an epic flavorful blend. Dive in and enjoy!

This beer pours a clear golden color with a smallish head and that goes away rather quickly. The aroma is bright citrus with a little hop bitterness and sweetness. Taste is similar to the aroma. There is a hop bitterness throughout the sip that is mild. Another good beer from Pelican. Rated 9-30-2024

no name on this one, seems weird for them, and another west coast ipa too, seems like theyve made a countless amount of these over the years, but i am not complaining, this is in the wheelhouse and another excellent iteration of the style, light on the malt side so the hops really shine, never anticipated this alcohol strength, drinks so much lighter than its listed abv, light in body, light in grain flavor, and fairly dry, fresh and summery, well done. blonde and shining, almost looks like a pils in the glass, little more than yellow, consistent three quarter inch white head. the nose and tastye here are a little sharp, green and new, bitter yes, but also with some interest wrinkles, green pear and apple, white wine grape, white florals, zesty meyer lemon, honeydew, watermelon rind, lush but with early onset bitterness, cool hop profile here, bold but it does not overwhelm the mild grain, which still makes its contribution towards balance, clean and earthy and simple really. mellow kiwi fruit, lime, green papaya, and decent bitterness at the end. refreshing, sneaky strong, very clean, and overall another one in the sweet spot for pelican. love visiting the siletz bay spot, really rad!
