Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear honey-gold color with a bit over 1/2 inch of white head that had good retention and decent lacing.
The aroma, while pleasant, was very soft. Gentle grains, a light bit of Rye, and mellow floral hops. The taste was the same, pleasing, mild and clean, with no real outstanding features. The grains were even and smooth, and there was a gentle bit of Rye at the back of the palate. The hops offered a nicely soft contrast.
The was medium, and was crisp, smooth, clean and dry. Drinkability was pretty good, my pint went away quickly enough, and I may have another later. Overall, a nice pleasant brew that would be a nice companion for your late summer cookout. Worth trying if you see it.
