Tasty and refreshing Hazy IPA on the light side of the spectrum but with enough character to hold its presence.
Presentation: 440 ml can. Typographic design with the large name of the ale broken by a Japanese-like character over white background. It’s kinda identifiable and iconic enough. Notes L5825 Diciembre 2026, detailed ingredients, and shows 5.5% Vol. Served in a tulip-snifter.
L - Light hazy yellow with nice finger of foam that settles somewhat quickly and offers some surface notes and light lacing.
S - Pleasant aromas, while not assertive, it has a nice citric range, with some fresh and light tropical notes.
T - Taste embraces the citric angle, slight fresh bitterness with some light grass, and final dash of tropical fruit with light hints of stone fruit.
F - Medium-light body, crisp and tingly carbonation, nicely balanced for the overall feel of a casually quaffable hazy IPA.
O - Nice flow overall, maybe slightly thin in a way. But that contributes very nicely to a solid take on a light Hazy IPA.
Notes: Maybe not among the most notable of Octavo Arte offerings… But it is actually pretty tasty, good hoppy range, and a fresh feel. Nice to have around.
