Copenhagen 24/6 2016. 50 cl bottle from Rema1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Working class hero pouring beer into a mug from a barrel. Looks like hard work.
Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass.
Aroma of malts and grains with a sharp bitter tang. A little saltiness.
Strong prickly carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a quite distinct bitterness - true to the Czech style.
A good fit for my tastebuds - without being neither innovative nor original.
