Chocolate Vanilla Twist Imperial Stout. This is the second collaboration with BeerThugLife and Indie Brewing Co. continuing their growing friendship in the form of a sweet and smooth Imperial Stout. Brewed with Marris Otter, British Roasted Barley, British Chocolate Malt, Cacao Nibs, and Madagascar Vanilla Beans.

Pours pitch black with creamy, coffee stained head. Bakers chocolate, cake batter, and light vanilla in the nose. Smooth, creamy, medium-bodied, firm, and a bit chewy. Layers of chocolate, brownies, toasty, roasty, bitter, coffee, some char, brandied cherries, black treacle, and toffee. Vanilla is very subtle, but becomes more pronounced as the beer warms.
I was hoping for a bit more vanilla, but For Life is a damn solid stout.
