Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of cereal grain, stronger than most, but nothing that jumps out. Tastes of sweet grain with slight citrus. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

-optically clear, golden can pour with no visible carbonation.
The aroma is faint with a grain hint.
The flavor is unremarkable. I’m guessing that the grain-malt base is the source.
I detect some interesting sharpness that may be hop related, but there are no definitive hop aromas or flavors.

Murky golden body with a white cap. If you are looking for a simple crusher lager look elsewhere, but if you want a mexican lager with depth and texture give this a try. You can feel the corn in all of its starchy and sharp glory, malts and yeast balance with smooth elevation before the hops give a jolt at the end. Smell and taste are the same: starchy corn, sharp lime from the mild hops, light grains and malt round out. Not sure why everyone is down on this one as it is an excellent mexican lager

A: crystal clear; deep gold in color; with a fairly aggressive pour, less than a 1 finger white head that receded to a thin collar; no lacing;
S: corn with light malt;
T: pretty much follows the nose from start to finish; there's a slight sourness in the flavor that wasn't in the aroma; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: interesting, but not something I'd want again;

A clean & crisp warm weather beer. Easy to drink but nothing special.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a golden color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam. The head fades quite fast, leaving just a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell -The aroma of the brew is rather heavy of a grainy smell mixed with aromas of bread and a touch of herb. Along with these smells comes a very light caramel and some corn sweetness.
Taste – The taste begins with a grainy and slightly bready flavor that has corn and caramel sweetness. At the same time there is a light herbal and earthy hop taste, both of which grow slightly stronger throughout the taste. Toward the end the graininess becomes more pronounced and with the other flavors leaves on with a somewhat crisp, and moderately grainy and lightly hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is light to average in thickness with a carbonation level that is average. A bit of a higher carbonation may have made it slightly more refreshing, but overall, the feel was pretty good.
Overall – A pretty easy drinking, slightly more hopped, Mexican lager.

Pours the color of harvest corn, almost perfectly clear, with a creamy white head that dissipates quickly. The corn aroma is really forward on the nose, and there’s a bit of grass and a nice bready malt aroma.
The corn is forward on the taste as well and is nicely sweet, in balance with the bit of grass and the nice bready malt flavor. The mouthfeel is crisp enough to keep drawing me back for another pull from my glass.
I’d love to have a couple of pints of this whilst enjoying some spicy fajitas. Really well done, IMHO.

Pours a straw color with little head. Smells of corn. Tastes a little like agave or pulque with a hint of sweetness. Light and easy to drink. It's better than some Mexican lagers I've had before. Thanks, Edgar. Can dated 0702-2021.

Can pour -clear yellow straw color with quickly dissipating white head leaving scant lacing. Nose is cereal grains with a whiff of hops. Taste follows more or less. Would pair nicely with a plate of carnitas or asada.

Mexican style lager brewed with organic blue corn adjunct - "Maize." Was very refreshing and easy drinking. Beautiful golden color with good carbonation. Is a collaboration beer with Indie Brewing in DTLA. The corn adds a nice crisp body and mouth feel and some residual sweetness. Fits the American Light Lager category perfectly. The 5.2% abv makes this very crushable and "Chuggable MFer!"

One of the Lager Fest beers. Poured from a can into a tulip glass. Yellow color with thin head and lacing. Sweet grassy smell and taste with a slightly fruit background. Thin feel but it was light and tasty. Went well with King Ranch Chicken!
