Poured from a 16oz can into a TG Assassin Teku. Pours a fairly clear but slightly burnt orange with a frothy white foam head. Lot of booze on the nose initially. I should mention I let this can sit out for about twenty minutes before opening. There’s also some pine, ripe melon and a little blueberry. Taste is much less boozy. More pine, flowers and grass, citrus and melon. There’s some alcohol as it continues to warm but it drinks nowhere near its 14% abv. Medium-full mouthfeel. Decent carbonation. Super solid quad IPA. Lots of booze on the nose. Somewhat muted on the nose otherwise. But damn is the taste explosive and doesn’t drink like such a strong ale. Unique drinking experience to be sure.

Pours a crystal clear golden color with a fluffy white head that provides big splotches of lacing, which is surprising given the 14.1% ABV. Gorgeous WCQIPA. Yep, quadruple IPA.
The nose is boozy and features earthy, herbal hop aromas, lots of ripe tangerine, some stone fruit, specifically apricot, and a biscuity malt aroma.
For the gravity of this beer, there’s a nice balance between the ripe tangerine, apricot, berries, and biscuity malt, and I think it’s the earthy, herbal hop flavors that are the lynchpin holding it all together, along with the warming alcohol at the back of the palate.
The Mori’s big, brawny, and on the dry side. This could’ve gone off the rails any number of ways, but it holds together exceptionally well, IMHO.
