This Belgian-inspired Christmas classic from Undercover Brewing has rightly taken first place as Best Christmas Beer at the Nordic Brew Festival 2025. Christmas Ale is a 7% Belgian Strong Dark Ale, where rich caramel malt and spicy yeast notes merge into a warm and complex whole. A beer that exudes the Christmas spirit — full-bodied, round and with a touch of dark fruit and spices that invite reflection in the winter darkness.

Copenhagen 13/2 2026. 44 cl can from A Good Case web-shop. Dark green can with different geometrical figures in a lighter shade of green. The name of the beer and brewery in gold.
Pours unclear murky amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer for foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet and sugary odor with a tart streak. Brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Tart berries peeking in.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sour streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Fine not too sweet Christmas beer.
