Copenhagen 15/1 2016. 33 cl bottle from Skjold Burne, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. Dark brown label with Secret Agent paraphernalia like sun glasses and hat and such.
Pours clear reddish dark brown with an off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet and roasted. Caramel, nuts, coffee and roasted malts. Quite sugary.
Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Almost flat texture.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a light bitterness.
A very sweet and nutty experience. I prefer a Brown Ale slightly more bitter.
