Dark, robust and malty, Requiem Bier drags the Londoner's brown porter into the U.S. beerscape with a robust porter with more unique hoppy charm.
Dark brown and shedding a creamy tan froth, One Horse Town greets the nose with a toasty, toffee, coffee and chocolate scent with a twinge of malted milk. As its sweetness scatters across the early palate, flavors of caramel, toffee and mild cream provide a smooth and velvety upstart. Developing into coffee, nutty and toasty mid-flavors, the taste soon favors a drier finish with hints of citrus and pine to close.
Medium-full in body, the rounded maltiness of the session is met with a mild resinous dryness for drinkability and boldness- a dangerous combination for dark beer lovers.

Pours jet black in color. Dark tan to brown head. Nose is cocoa or toasted malts. Taste coffee, char with a mild bitterness on backend. Fairly smooth mouthfeel.
