Had on tap at my local Liquor Barn.
Poured out a deep almost black color with a short lived head that gave way to a good amount of lacing. A very fruity smell that was not truly indicative of the taste which was more "tart" than "sour" (in a good way). Very low bitterness with good malt flavor balanced the tartness. The mouthfeel was actually quite smooth and the finish clean.
This was my first experience with this style and it won't be my last. I'm not sure you could drink this as a session type beer but I think it would go great with hearty "comfort" type foods that would balance the tartness.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
