This was listed as a "Sessionable" entry at the Smokehouse and for that it succeeds. The flavor is very light but the combination of grain, barley, nut and toast was very satisfying. It has an easy drinkability but isn't watered down. It's overly simple but that's not a bad thing for what it is, "Sessionable."

I don't know Cutty. I don't know if they can hang or not. But if they are such a light-weight, then this is the beer for them! The common and traditional taste of the Belgian low-lands dinner table springs into action to accompany a wide range of culinary options and hosts enough character to suffice for a stand-alone session... just for folks like Cutty.
Its striking light gold color brilliantly displays its streams of carbonation that seem to entangle in its journey towards a cottony white froth. It's hazy champagne character launches with bright aromas of tangy lemon, orange, apple and peppercorn. Supported by malt elements of light confection and dry hay, its taste introduces dry cracker-like breadiness and an overall husken character.
As the palate pops with carbonation, the light-bodied ale provides a smooth malt creaminess before exploding like champagne. Balanced orchard and citrus spice with peppery spice carries the middle in true Belgian-esque fashion .Its carbonic bite and bracing acidity brings life to the earthy hop flavor- grassy, pepper and straw-like.
Expressive carbonation keeps the beer lively and with absolute dryness in finish- making for an effortless session with an arid malt backbone, peppery and earthy grain, straw and a fleeting taste of iron. Its simple and easy nature makes it well suited for dishes of all types.
