This is an interesting variation of a stout with a decent amount of smoke. Pours black with a frothy head. The nose develops as it warms - cherries, bourbon, booze, dark malts, bourbon barrels, and vanilla. The taste is very similar. Full body, moderate carb, and smooth.
The cherry flavor is very noticeable and subtle which makes this a pleasant variation. The smoke is very muted which works. I would certainly drink this again.
