750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Black body. Doesn't appear as inky and black as previous batches. Small khaki head and a wispy surface.
Smell - Medicinal aroma. Mint and herbal aroma. Dominates the aroma.
Taste - Smoke comes out. Mint works better here. Dark chocolate and some caramel. Rosemary comes out in the finish and brings back that medicinal flavor.
Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Boozy. Well carbonated.
Overall - Back to the weirdness. Medicinal and odd.

Initial flavors are nice Andes mint shit, but then the rosemary comes in and ruins it.

I love me some Bo and Luke, but man did this line my drain pipes so fast it wasn't funny. The mint didn't add to the flavor at all, it was a major distraction from the classically rich brew. Honestly, it reminded me a bit of cough syrup. I hadn't been disappointed by any other variation up to this point and will remain a huge fan of Bo & Luke otherwise. I just wish that they could have done something a bit more complementary to the beer's style.
