Canned late 2016; drank 1/15/17 @ the Yarchives.
Semi-opaque brown/purple appearance.
A violent pour yielded a HUGE khaki head; thick lace.
Mild orange citrus & faint pickle juice notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Peanut butter flavors up front; faintly tart pickle juice bite on the finish.
Unpleasant, frankly.

Had this on 2017-03-28 in Louisville, KY from a 16 oz can fresh at the brewery. Collaboration with Magic Rock Brewing.
Toasted sourdough wheat bread, caramel, pepper. Smooth and creamy. Quite bitter finish

Appearance and nose gives that enjoyable contradiction between the look of a malty porter and the aroma of a hoppy IPA. Dark brown pour with a frothy head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate cut by pine and lemongrass. Taste starts with the bitterness and grassiness of an IPA before transitioning to a roasty, malty and slightly coffee-ish melange of flavors. Finishes with a creamy mouthfeel and a pleasant bitterness.

Hazy, copperish brown color with a creamy, tan head. Streak lacing. Aroma is light toasted malt with hints of vanilla and tropical fruit. Spice and pine qualities in both aroma and flavor. Dark chocolate and caramelized sugar. Flores notes in the finish with a resinous hops aftertaste. A very solid and unique beer.

Great dome-making head. Plenty of 3D spots on the glass for lace. The liquid is dark amber where light shines through easily.
MIld pale malt aroma with a bit of light floral hop.
The flavor is darker but not in a burnt way, more like a deeply caramelized sugar. Good hop balance. The finish is balanced, leaving a great aftertaste. Full bodied with lower carbonation. Very smooth with a toasty flavor with a touch of dry chocolate.
