Not worth drinking given the ABV. Carbonation and mouthfeel is the biggest issue. Flavor is oddly mundane even though you can taste the bourbon character. It just otherwise taste flat and mild... like a bourbon barrel aged session beer, which makes no sense.

Pours into an imperial nonic a deep rich amber with a thine lighter beige head that looks like a 'soapy' mass atop.Dark fruits and spicy rye mainly in the nose,a bit of caramel comes into play as it sits as well.Kind of a mellow slick feel in the mouth.Like the mouth feel profile the flavors are...well mellow with dark fruits standing out most, the rye is very subdued with mild spice and a light acidic note in the back end. There is a port-like finale wich is deeply fruity mixing with that slight acidic flavor. Not bad but way way overpriced, don't purchase unless u have money to burn...in my opinion.

750 ml bottle, no dating on it that I noticed. Label says 12% ABV. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a dark reddish/brown color with about an inch light tan head that stayed around for a long time. There's also a good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like bourbon, vanilla, dark fruit, rye, chocolate and toffee. Taste is similar to the aroma, with bourbon, rye/dark bread, vanilla, dark fruit, toffee, and brown sugar flavors all noticeable. It's mostly sweet tasting but not overpowering. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. Not as boozy as I expected for being 12% ABV. I thought this was a good barrel aged brew, certainly worth a try if you've never had it before! $18.99 a bottle.
