750ml bottle poured into a snifter
A- pours jet black with a two finger creamy khaki head that has good retention
S- a nice whiff of smoke on the initial nose gives aromas of smoked pork and wood smoke. Undertones of chocolate, roasted malt, oak, vanilla and a hint of brown sugar
T- chocolate and dark fruit notes of fig, black cherry and raisin quickly give way to a wave of smoke that gives smoked wood and a hint of pork. The finish brings out a sharp oak note, followed by a note of black cherry that I haven’t found in most of B&L variants. Lingers if smoke, oak, chocolate and cherry
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel that turns velvety into a warming finish

Smells of oak, smoke, Licorice, and shoe polish. Why can I not unsmell that descriptor?
Taste is dry, chalky, meaty lean ground beef. It's intense and smoky as all hell, perhaps the most smoke forward b&o I've had to date. It's filling and a meal in every sip characteristic of all b&l. So again I complain, please stop releasing these in 750s... no human can appreciate that volume of this intensity.
