From the growler via DEPS in NKY and enjoyed in a snifter. This nice porter
pours a rich dark brownish black with a decent head of off white foam that
settles to a thin ring with spotty lacing. Nose of coffee, chocolate, subtle cream,
and toasted coconut. Flavors surpass the nose with nice toasted malt and coconut
notes that are awash in a rich cream touched chocolate syrup note and enhanced by
notes of light char and roasted coffee. Excellent mouth feel; medium body, medium
light carbonation, and a nice roasted finish touched with toasted coconut that
does not overpower the brew in any way.
Overall, another bit of great brewing from a great brewer.
