Bo & Luke (Pumpkin Spice)

750 ml wax capped bottle, no dating on it that I noticed. Purchased at the brewery earlier this year, ATG's website says it was a 2019 release. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch of so tan head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, clove, smoked malt, oak, vanilla, bourbon and dark chocolate. Think the pumpkin spices stand out in the aroma. The taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some cherry, dark bread, coffee, and burnt/charred malt. All the flavors work well with each other here, starts off with the pumpkin spice but then the other flavors kick in more as it warms. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's creamy and coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this Bo & Luke variant, worth picking up if you're into pumpkin spice or just big imperial stouts in general! Would have liked to try this one fresher, but the age didn't seem to hurt it.
