I fucking love bo and luke and all its variants. Even most of their whacky ass shit. But damn man, 2021 has been a MAJOR fucking letdown. I paid good money and thank you bourbon to make sure I landed these beers in PA only to be massively let down. Heaps sucked but that was expected.
I decided to jump to my most anticipated variant of the Charleston gnaw but goddammit this beer is so far below the base bo and luke its a joke.. looks awesome. Smells like articlficial vanilla. Drinks like saccharin with fake sweetness.
Wtf.
I have one more variant to try (the creeces) but am honestly not even looking forward to it anymore. I'm drinking a base bo and luke next (a pretty standard 4.5-4.75 beer for me) to see if its the base thats fucked up or this stupid ass candy bar shit.
