Draft pint at the Map Room for the annual NYE gathering. Ruddy chestnut brown, compact layer of foam, a fingers width tall. Soft woodsmoke and rich dark malt in the aroma. Smooth and rich maltiness, toasty and nutty with intertwined woodsmoke that lingers. Hickory smoked malt if I had to guess. Full bodied, supple carb. Well done, the smoke is well integrated and not overpowering. Thanks to Chris for this one!
