Poured from tap into mug at the brewery. Pours an amber brown with thick creamy slightly off white head. Smell is heavy on the oak and coffee....lots of malts also. Taste is lots of oak and crazy coffee. Really flavorful and this actually works. Its well balanced and probably the most unique red ale ive ever had. Reallh nice job on this one.

Found this at Party Town on Growler and decided to grab a sample. This doesn't fit much in terms of convention as it's an Oaked Coffee Amber. Guy next to me hated it and poured it. For me, it is unique and has a nice flavor
A: Appearance is orange-brown with a nice 1/2 inch head that lingers a while.
S: Nose is strong malt, coffee, and some bread tones.
T: Taste is bitter up front from the coffee and hops, the finish is bitter and it has a nice bready malt body.
M: Mouthfeel has a moderate carbonation but finish is very dry
O: This beer and brewery intrigue me. Overall, this beer is good and I'm pretty excited about what they seem to be getting into and it's another brewery in the great state of Kentucky. Bring on the beer!
