A: Pours a clear gold with a compact, lingering white head. Little streams of effervescence are obvious in the glass.
S: Aromas of honey, wheat, grass, and minerals greet the nose, but are subtly underscored by scents of oak and woody spice.
T: A crisp, grainy entry reveals notes of honey, beeswax, lemon, minerals, grass, vanilla, wheat, cream, oak, and woody spice. The finish is short, quenching, and smooth with notes of honey, lemon, minerals, and oak.
M: This ale is light-bodied, firm, and dry. Carbonation is crisp and active. This version is just a tad smoother than the regular Banal Bees.
O: This is a very nice session ale. The oak-aging imparts a little extra depth and cuts the sharpness of the wheat a bit.
