A clear, deep-gold body is topped by a short, bright-white head of froth. The retention is fair and it leaves some minor lacing at the outset. The nose is malty and very lightly caramelish. The body is medium-light and it's crisp in the mouth. The flavor wraps a well-balanced combination of delicate fruitiness, lightly grainy malt, and firm bitterness into one very nice package before finishing short and dry. It's well-done, and even interesting in comparison to other Canadian Ales; but it still falls a little short production-wise. Still, probably worth trying if you're in the area.
