On-tap at the brewpub. Arrived with a semi-thick layer of toffee-colored head. Nice lacing of the glass. Dark, dark brownish-black in color. Aromas are soft. Sweetness dominates with barely any roasted/toasted scents or chocolate. More of the same for the taste. Lots of sweetness, without any balance. M&D are OK, though certainly not spectacular. It has potential, but there needs to be some balance to the profile.
