I actually got this one thinking it was a SuperDry. Boy, was I disappointed.

Appearance - Pale straw color. Looks like a watered-down version of "SuperDry".

Smell - Sweet with some remote notes of hop and starches.

Taste - Similar to "SuperDry" except this one is more like a softdrink than a beer.

Mouthfeel - Bleh. It's watered down.

Drinkability - Not the most regretable experience if you've already had some other decent beers beforehand.

I'm glad Asahi gave this one the axe after only a year.

BB 2006.04. Nice but dissappearing quiet rapid white head and a golden beer that's clear. Nose is buttery, litle maltyness like, some alcohol and very low dosed yeast esters. Overall empty and buttery reminding a lot of fat oxidation. Taste is hard to dig also being extremly oxidated annd watery, hardly any taste and even less beery notes, no body and no bitterness. Something far off from beer at all and wonder if there is malt in this at all.

A - Darkish yellow with no head.
S - smells like a glass of water, with a tad of bitterness.
T - Extremely dry, no malt flavor, metallic bitterness. Grain husk.
M - dry, thin, over carbonated.
D - This is not drinkable.

The can advertises tha this has soy peptides with Asahi Super Dry (the no. 1 selling beer in Japan) yeast.

Ingedients are hops, sugars, yeast extract, soy peptides, karamel coloring.
