On tap in Tokyo. It has a deep copper color and a very creamy head. It is labeled as a dunkel but it looks far more like an English pale ale. The white head leaves dense, delicate lace. The smell is floral hops, with hints of vanilla and mild fruit, maybe apricots. There is also cinnamon in there somewhere. Very inviting indeed. Taste is malt dominated, earthy and dry. But not too dry. It has a nutty flavor and a very clean finish. Mouthfeel is tingly but with a good slippery texture. Drinkability is excellent. This came in a 5l keg (I had no idea anyone made these things) and an evening and about three of us is about all it will take.
