There is a smaller hype about this since it came out (like it is with almost every new product here in JP) but I was curious what this "kire" taste stands for - and I was even willing to drink this happoshu (which is not beer but a malt product with liquor added to achieve the ABV).
Kire seems to stand for the sensation when the taste of the beer disappears in the aftertaste and I was expecting something dry, not knowing how it would feel like.
Now it wasn't dry at all, there was a decent taste to it, a taste almost like a real beer. Wasn't bad but for me the aftertaste was a bit too sweet although not bad.
Was quite different from what I expected, nevertheless I would rather drink a low quality real beer instead of this, even if it only costs about a dollar...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
