Pours a transparent amber color, just as it says on the can. Head is creamy, off-white, and seems to stick to the glass quite well.
Aroma is crackery with noble, floral hop aromas. Hint of spicy hop aroma. That AAL type of corn sweetness in the aroma.
Flavor starts off biscuity with some a lot of sweetness than goes to the noble hop flavors, with a fair amount of bitterness to follow. Does have a touch of an ashtray thing going on at the end. The sweetness lingers quite a bit, despite it being kind of dry mid palate.
The mouthfeel is just south of medium bodied, but quite a bit sticky. Medium carbonation. Alcohol warmth is hardly noticed and appropriate for the style.
Overal, not a travesty, but not really all that great. I did pick this up for about a dollar, so I can't complain about too much. I guess go for it if you find it at the same price, but be prepared for it to be worth exactly one dollar.
