In the outer areas of Skifjorden, the old ones call the USA - Junaiten. A classic American pale ale with a distinct malt body, which is balanced with both bitter and aroma hops. We mean this beer is perfect for a hamburger or a strong meatdish.

Copenhagen 21/5 2018. 33 cl bottle from Vin de Table, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. What looks like a bread winner from the sixties waving goodbye to a couple of islands which I can understand is Vestlandet on the label.
Pours hazy, murky orange with a small white head. Settles as a thin, flimsy layer of almost transparent foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense and rather sweet. Sweet caramel, cardboard, light citric overtones. Very much on the sweet side.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick texture.
Flavor follows the nose and is fairly sweet. Followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweet for an APA - but nicely made with a lot of flavor.
