really light and pretty delicate beer here, not overly fruity or anything, and honestly pretty mature and interesting still, i taste the wood aged beer in the blend (assuming this has to be blended), and its real dry, nothing forced on the grapefruit side, and i think its weird and good. i think id like a little more fruit to this super light silvery blonde brew, the fruit doesnt add the normal zesty fleshy acidity or pithy bitterness i like when its used well, instead its an accent at best, still well behind their classic funky yeast mix, which always has a vinegar note to me, and as light as this is overall, i dont get a ton of the grapefruit, which shocks me, but its still a delightful beer, and its really easy drinking for something this wild, that almost never happens. i like how light the grain is here, a barely there vibe, and yet the beer is still woody and complex, funky too, and just a bit tart and tangy, more of a generic citrus thing than specifically grapefruit, but overall this is light and summery and delicious. really unique flavor here, well done on the whole, id like to try some of the other fruit editions...

So if this a Belgian Pale Ale like Petrus Aged Pale? Or an American Wild Ale? Something else? I'm not sure. Tart grapefruit is up front and center with some wheatiness. Overall the flavors work well together. I like it.
