Pours dark brown, one finger brown head with poor retention, and a thin afterwards that leaves no traces.
Dark Belgian ale smell, with some raisin, sweet dark malts, some Belgian spice, caramel, foreboding a big sweetness.
Taste starts with a bit of dark malts and dark fruit, but it's immediately bombarded with tons(!) of sugars, and not too tasty (no hints of candi, brown or cane). Tastes just like a very light coffee with 10 spoons of sugar. A weird bad note in the finish too, somewhat chemical.
Maybe some people would consider it a nice dessert beer, but it feels just way too syrupy sweet.
