Allgood Brewing Company

Allgood is a brand, brand new brewery that I visited a few weeks back during Zwicklmania. When I was there, they were not yet brewing on site -- the equipment was there but not all hooked up -- so the house beers they had on-tap were contract brewed elsewhere. The taproom is kind of a huge space with divided-up areas and quite a bit of covered, heated outdoor seating. There's a built-in food truck pod right next to the place (like, adjoining the outdoor seating area), so there are definitely dining options right there, which is nice. The service was friendly, although they were busy and I didn't get much chance to chat with the bartender.

They had 8 beers and 2 ciders on when I was there -- mostly all guest taps. Only 2 of the beers on were Allgood beers, a Pilsner and a stout. I had both of them, and they were perfectly decent if not outstanding. I am definitely going to hit up Allgood if they are brewing onsite the next time I'm in Portland, to try some real house-brewed beers. And I'll update the "selection" part of my rating when they have more of their own beers on tap.
