Poured from 12oz can into my Bell’s tulip. Canned 2/9/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze and a nice effervescence. Head is a thick layer of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: malt is on the sweet side with a floral, tropical hop aroma. There’s passionfruit in there, but also kind of a dry, grassy aroma. Not what I usually think of when I think of a WCIPA, but it’s not bad at all.
Taste: sweet malt with that light tropical fruitiness from the aroma, with a moderate bitterness at the end. It doesn’t quite all balance up, but it’s a totally serviceable IPA.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like I said, a perfectly serviceable IPA, especially coming from a brand-new brewery.
