On draught a the White Oak Tavern.
A dark pour with some clarity, a thin head and little lacing. Dark roasted barley malt flavors dominate. The caramelization flavors blend well with the subtle deep fried donuts. Some residual spices likely from the addition of donuts add to the complexity. Hints a fennel and almond/marzipan come to mind. The bitterness is mild and enjoyable. Nicely carbonated.
