Quite dark but clear in the Hokkaido Hakodate beer glass with long-lasting beige foam. Light body with a sudsy mouthfeel. Quite dry and roasted tasting with a mild charred and slightly sour note. Dark roasted grain flavor with a hint of burnt sugar in the aftertaste. Overall this is an interesting Japanese brew, maybe more of a Schwarzbier than our idea of a Porter. From the 350 ml can brought home from Hakodate.
