Very bready, slightly toasted grains, sourdough, dark bread, hints of banana, tart wheaty finish. Light and refreshing, full flavored, malt bomb. Unique and enjoyable.

i absolutely love this, i love the idea and i love the execution, how cool to see these guys do something other than a traditional german wheat style. this is about reenergizing during the midday lull, brewed with rye and fermented at least in part with sourdough bread yeast, a cool wild complexion in the nose t this pale golden hazy brew. its frothy from the tap, fizzy like a soda, and with enormous aromatic complexity, pale rye malt, a sweeter vienna type for a moment, biscuity and earthy at the same time, with some cool funk and clean tang from the yeast, highly compelling and super light and delicate. the flavor is awesome, a different kind of yeast forward from these guys for sure, with some almost bretty funk to it, saison-esque more than german to me, but there is still a light banana and spice element to it, nice with the light tartness this has at the end. the high carbonation keeps it light and refreshing, the rye and the different barley malt make it fundamentally interesting even before the yeast, and i end up wanting more and more of this. i hope this becomes a regularly available thing from them, this could be a staple for me! really unique and really delicious!

Draft at PreFunk. Milky yellow body, flat pour. Grainy, yeasty aroma, sourdough notes. Taste gets more yeasty, citrus. Pretty light. wasn't prepared for a sour, but proves that Schneider can do other styles.

Poured a cloudy orange body with bitter citrusy almost lemony aroma w/ smells of spice, bread and rye. Smooth, bready beer, a great yeast/banana like sweetness with a little bit of fruitiness and balances with a peppery lemon zip (somewhat like lemon pepper wings) and crisp finish to complement beer.

Poured on tap at Cafe Berlin into a wheat ale glass.

Opaque and shiny glowing peach yellow body. Creamy vanilla topped head, thick and rich with a little collar while drinking.

Wonderful banana and slight tangy sourdough esters on the nose. Touches of lemon and chewy wheat sweetness. Dense but light with rich sensing flavors.

Palate is a joy. Light and refreshing but with excellent malt chewy depth. Pulp sensing lemon but with more sweet tones than sour. Tangy dense balance almost with a powdery quality of sweettarts candy.

Excellent neat style and very enjoyable this one seems to be.

Pale opaque yellow with a light orange tint, sudsy foam. Served in a small branded stange glass.

Aroma is yeasty with an odd hint of soapy coriander, wild yeast that has a cleaning agent note to it. Fairly weird, not like sourdough at all.

Taste is a bit one dimensional, yeasty and thin, hard to classify really. Odd soapy cleanser note, astringent with loose carbonation. Somewhat similar to an unfiltered Berliner weiss but less tart. Overall it was an an unusual experimental beer, though I don't think it was very successful. One small glass was enough.
