The first Lager offering from 2nd Favor, our take on a more refined version of classic American macro lagers. This 4.5% Munich style Helles is light, crisp, and endlessly drinkable. Soft malt sweetness and toasted bread notes are balanced by subtle bitterness from noble hops.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a crystal clear golden honey color with a half finger cap of creamy, bright white foam and thick film of lacing. Its smell includes grains, lightly toasted bread, and a whiff of lemon. Its taste follows: crisp and dry with notes of toasted bread and lemon peel. It also has more hop bitterness than I anticipated. The pleasant mouth feel is super lite, crisp, and well-carbonated. At 4.5% ABV it is a very easy drinker. Overall, a fine Helles Lager.
