Brewed in the traditional American iPA style but borrowing from newer hop varieties and trends, Seven Jars steps away from the still and embraces the brew kettle for a juicy IPA.

And that aptly named beer joins the crowded juicy beer market with a pale golden amber appearance with a tall frothy cap. As a spicy, fruity and floral scent greets the nose, the first sip leans in with hints of caramel, shortbread, toasted cereal and a sweeter malt character. As the hops roll onto the middle palate, flavors of orange, apricot, mango, pineapple and papaya settle into a citrusy, tropical fruit cocktail. Trending bitter to finish, the hops add a grassy bite, peppery pine and somewhat stemmy bite for both balance and tannin.

Medium bodied, juicy for sure but a little too bitey for smoother and juicier ale but not dry enough for more west coast varieties, the balance and flavor combinations catches this juicy ale in no-man's land.
