Copenhagen 30/7 2017. 44 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. The usual Carl’s Selection brand design under the headline "A Journey into Beer".
Pours clear maroon brown with red tinge and off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is sweet and dark. Sugary with caramel and brown sugar and with a mild roastiness. Very light bitterness.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is very sweet without feeling particularly heavy. Followed by quite subdued bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lightly sugary.
Feels quite light and easy to drink despite its nearly cloying sweetness.
