Copenhagen 31/7 2020. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. Blue version of Carslberg's Jacobsen brand design with the little bust of brewer. I wonder if this is a new version as this seems to be a beer developed in relation to a culinary competition on Bornholm. Holds an ABV of 5,0.

Pours unclear, pale yellow with a big, bubbly white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a fairly strong tart odor of citrus and gooseberries. Some spiciness blending in. Coriander, cloves and nutmeg. Herbal.

Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, fizzy texture.

Flavor is moderately intense. On the verge of being thin. Medium sweet with a lighter tartness. Aftertaste is lightly citric. Finish is semi-dry.

Very much on the herbal side - but a bit thin and watery.

The liquid is cloudy, the colour beige-pink. The finger thick head is pale beige with a tint of red. It sinks slowly, leaving very little lacing.

The smell is wheat-sour with some dry fruity notes, mostly of raspberries. Some spicy hints in the background.

The taste got an interesting sour blend of flavours from the wheat and the raspberries. Some fruity notes of elderberries/elderflowers, too. I expected quite a sweet brew when I read the ingredients list, but it is actually quite dry and a bit tart. The aftertaste got some bitter hints, notes of spices and raspberries. It is quite light and short, but at the same time very pleasant.

The carbonation is medium to strong; the many small bubbles fresh. The liquid is a bit smooth and a little sticky.

An interesting take on the wit style with a refreshing sourness. Maybe a bit simple at times. Recommended for desserts.

Pours hazy red orange with large frothy head that fades to thin, but dense layer that stays till the end of the glass. Aroma is weak, but pleasant lemony wheat, a little bit sourish.

Taste is fresh citrus fruit, mild spicy wheat, some yeast with sweetish fruity aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light-medium with prickly carbonation.

Overall, quite a good one, very enjoyable and highly drinkable, I finished the 750ml bottle in no time.
