The colour is gold, the liquid is clear (the beer is bottle conditioned). The finger thick head is white. It sinks quite quickly leaving some lacing.
The smell is light with some yeast, bitter hops and a clean sweetness. It is milder than expected, and lacks some of the notorious Belgian flavours of fruits, spices, and earth. It reminds a bit of an unclean pale lager. It is, sort of, too clean.
The taste is light with notes of fruits, yeast, cheese and honey. It is, as the label states, drier then the average Belgian blonde beer. Some hints of wheat flour, clean bitter hops and a touch of soap. The aftertaste is quite dry. Some warming alcohol, banana peels, apples and green grapes in the aftertaste. The finish is alcoholic and dry.
The carbonation is strong; the many bubbles very strong. The liquid is both semi-smooth and dry.
A clean and dry blonde. Probably much better with light food tan on its own.
