Copenhagen 20/6 2015. 75 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Light green version of Carlsberg's Jacobsen brand design.
Pours clear copper brown with an off-white head. Stable. Settles nicely as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fresh with some tart hints of citrus fruit. Sweet pale malts, bread and a little caramel. Lemon and lime.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, oily almost flat texture.
Flavor is sweetish with caramel, raisins and malt. A little sourness in the aftertaste.
It tastes better than this spring felt - but that's not saying much this year.

Shared 750 ml bottle, as Jacobsen Forårsbryg, 2011, from a Danish grocery store. Chestnut colour, moderate off-white head. Unusual and interesting spicy, herbal and floral (Galium odoratum) aroma and flavour. "Christmas spices" come through distinctly in the flavour, despite this beeing a spring seasonal. A nice surprise - props to Jacobsen / Carlsberg for brewing something out of the ordinary.
