Copenhagen 10/10 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. The first canned beer from the Jacobsen brand that I have run into. Jacobsen's usual design with the bust of the brewer's profile and a lot of unfinished triangles in red, yellow, green and blue on the label.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a midsized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with a dry, citric scent. Sweet pale malts, peach and a bit of mango. Light whiff of citrus anf grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
Overall decent but a run of the mill Indian Pale Ale.
