Copenhagen 29/1 2022. 33 cl can from SuperBrugsen, Frederiksundsvej, Brønshøj. Jacobsen usual design in green, yellow and white.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a prominent sweet malty scent mingling with a bit of sourish grains. Sweet pale malt, bread and a bit of sugar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
True to style very sweet and malty. A bit generic take on a Helles.
