A dark Winter Ale.
A celebration for the Belgium Ale Quadrupel. Copper colored and dominated by dried fruits. A well balanced sweetness with a slight taste of bitterness and caramel.

Copenhagen 30/10 2020. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. Jacobsen new brand design with a bust of brewer Jacobsen in dark blue and warm red and orange.
Pours clear maroon with a red hue. Big off-white head. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, boozy odor. Caramel and toffee. Brown sugar. Metallic notes of alcohol. Hints of nuts.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a modest bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and caramel-ish. Lingering. Finish is sweet with a light boozy burn.
Fairly intense and not too boozy take on a Quadruple.
