Copenhagen 24/11 2019. 75 cl bottle. Gift from my Girlfriend. Light brown and yellow version of Carlsbergs Jacobsen brand design.
Pours clear dark amber with a medium-sized off-white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, quite sweet but without the expected jolt of cocoa. Caramel, toffee, nuts and light odor of brown sugar. Hints of metallic alcoholic.
Medium carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly viscous texture
Flavor has a prominent sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light boozy burn. Lingers for a while.
