Copenhagen 31/5 2019. 33 cl van from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh NV. Simple design with a off-white can with green writing. The tagline is Unfiltered enjoyment.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as very thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is not very intense and balanced between sweetness and a dry hoppy presence. Sweet pale malts, lightly metallic, fresh grass and a dry feel.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery and very lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a metallic tang. Light sweet undercurrent. Lingers shortly.
Better than a standard Carlsberg as I can actually detect a little bitterness. But no great experience.
