Copenhagen 3/11 2017. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Blue and golden version of Jacobsen usual design.
Pours clear dark amber with a small white head. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet but with a strong tart twist. The hops are fairly prominent. Gooseberries, caramel and subdued notes of citrus fruit. A little dusty.
Medium strong carbonation and medium thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingering.
Decent amber ale with a nice bitter streak.
